Current Deposit Schemes
 

The Current accounts are mainly opened for the day to day banking transactions done by business people or organizations. There is no restriction on the number and the withdrawal of amounts. A current account is basically meant for the convenience of customer for the transactions to be routed through account for better control in day to day business activity. The current account may be opened in the name of:

  • Individuals or Joint Individuals.
  • Proprietorship or Partnership firms.
  • Private or Public Limited companies
  • Institutes or organizations
  • NGOs, Religious Institutes, Clubs, Associations, Trusts

Requirement of Current Account:

  • Completed duly signed Account opening form along with photographs of all authorized signatories. The identification proof as stated above should be attached with the forms.
  • As per the constitution of account the relevant papers are required. Like Partnership deed for Partnership firms , Board resolution, Article of Memorandum and Association for Limited Companies, Letter from Government or Boards to authorize the signatory to operate the accounts to be opened for Institution and organizations, By laws and resolutions to open the accounts for Clubs, Associations and Religious Institutes. Trust deed for Trust accounts.
  • The minimum initial deposits should be of USD 500 or its equivalent Afghani.

Schedule of Charges:

  • If the balance of account goes below USD 500 or its equivalent during the entire year then bank will deduct charge of $5 per month from the account.
  • Towards the cost of identity card $10 will be deducted during the closure of account. This charge will be deducted from the balance outstanding in the account and rest balance will be paid to customer.
  • First cheque book of 25 leaves are free of charges and subsequent charge for cheque book of 25 leaves will be $10.
  • The stop payment charges will be $5 per leaf.

The above stated charges are applicable till further revision in the future. Accordingly the customer has to bear the charges.
